An International Gathering: Global Symposium and Startup Pitch Competition to Foster Collaboration Among Healthcare Stakeholders, Drive Innovation, and Tackle Health Challenges Worldwide

In June 2025, we will host the 'Global Healthcare Challenge (GHeC)' in Osaka, leveraging the opportunity presented by the 'Health and Well-being' Theme Week at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025. Since 2016, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has organized the 'Japan Healthcare Business Contest (JHeC)' as a platform for domestic healthcare startups. Celebrating its 10th edition, GHeC will expand this concept globally, inviting healthcare startups from Japan and around the world to participate in the competition. Beyond the contest, the event will also include a symposium and networking opportunities, uniting key figures and thought leaders from the healthcare industry both locally and globally.
